How to create a carnation flower ball

Create a complex, delicate and intricate design by bringing carnation flowers together.  Our guide to make carnation flowers balls can work with fresh and artificial carnations. 

To create a carnation flower ball, you'll need:

• Carnations (or any other type of flowers)
• Floral foam ball or oasis
• Floral tape
• Scissors or floral snips
• Floral wire (optional)

Steps:

1.Soak the floral foam in water until fully saturated

2.Cut the foam to the desired size and shape.

3.Using floral tape, wrap the base of each carnation stem to secure it to the foam.

4.Continue to add carnations to the foam, taping each stem in place, until the ball is fully covered.

5.To create a more secure ball, you can wrap floral wire around the entire foam ball and then cover it with tape.

6.Trim any excess stems and leaves, and your carnation flower ball is complete!
